KiWolfGirl Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I haven't been able to find them, but I need to re-add the CoH items to my inventory, I lost all my items somehow and I still have the werewolves, but no options, moonstone, collar, ring, etc.I dont really know how to look through mod files to find the item codes but if anyone here knows them or knows how to find them, that would be great.
Poontank Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 You will need the 'Elder Scrolls Construction Set' for this. Get it for example from here if you haven't got it installed yet. Start up the CS. Now open the file 'CurseOfHircine.esp' by clicking on the folder icon in the main menu bar, then double-clicking on the esp in the list of installed mods in the appearing 'Data' window and clicking on the 'Set as Active File' button below. Confirm with the 'OK' button and wait until the mod is fully loaded. You may also double-click 'Oblivion.esm' as well, but it will be automatically selected anyway just by opening the esp as this is the master file to this mod (and every other Oblivion mod in existence). The items are found in their respective categories in the list to the left in the 'Object Window'. On the right side of the window all sorts of items of the selected category and their parameters are listed. The form IDs however are hidden! You need to look for the double bars || in the window's header bar and expand them to see those IDs. This is what I mean: Search for all the items you want, spread all over the different categories like armor, clothing and weapons and write down these IDs. The 'Curse of Hircine' items are all starting with 'cid...' for your convenience. Entries added by a mod are marked with an asterisk *. You don't need the first two digits of the IDs as they will be different in the actual game. They are '01' in the CS, but to get the real first two digits you must look up the mod's position in your load order. Either in OBMM or Wrye Bash. In my case the mod is in position 'BE', so these two letters are the first digits of the items' real form IDs. Get the items in-game by opening the console with the ~ key below the esc key and using the console command player.additem ???????? ?. Replace the question marks with the form IDs you have written down. The last one is the quantity parameter to give you as many of those items as you want, must at least be 1. As an example, to receive one 'cidwwhircinering' - Hircine's Ring - my ID code would be player.additem BE00D606 1.
KiWolfGirl Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 Ah thank you that program is just what I am looking for! I also have other items in other mods I woiuld like to find as well so this is perfect. I understand now the mod load order and how the console works but TY for explaining anyway
KiWolfGirl Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 Well thats really strange i got the item codes and put them in, the game even said "curse of hircine options added" but its not actually adding them to my inventory i also tried unloading and reloading the mod, it tries to add the items again but i still dont have them. Not sure what the problem is.
Poontank Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 This is definitely weird. Shouldn't be like that. When you say you have de- and then reactivated the mod - have you made a clean save with the mod not active and then switched it on again? If not, please try this. Maybe that's all it takes. Otherwise I'm totally clueless.
KiWolfGirl Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Yeah that is what i tried. I can get all the other items that you can equip like the moonstone, the ring, the dog collar, but the options which controll everything wont go in my inventory.
Poontank Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 So I tried to replicate this effect. Guess what happened? Nothing special, actually. The options misc item got added as it should be. It brings up a functional COH options menu. Nevermind my non-fancy vanilla UI. Makes me wonder why it's not working for you? Do you have the required OBSE v20 correctly installed and start the game with the OBSE launcher?
KiWolfGirl Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 Yah i have the latest OBSE (20.6). Also i dont know if i mentioned it SAYS the options are added just like your first SS but they actually arent in my inventory. Also lol at that felicia werewolf
