WizardOfPM Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 This weird skin texture for CBBE body keeps showing up whenever I use bodyslide studio. I've tried re-installing CBBE and disabling any body texture mods. Any idea what could be causing this/how to fix it?

Any idea what could be causing this/how to fix it? try searching all your mod folders for the skin texture file names and see if they are showing up in a mod you aren't aware of. Sometimes things get snuck into mods either by mistake or for some specific reason. It could be in a follower mod or an armor mod. Look for path: Textures\Actors\Character\BaseHumanFemale and files named "femalebody_d.dds", "femalebody_n.dds", "femalebody_s.dds". There's usually 6 texture files for the body, regular and "dirty". Another thing you could try is download a completely different texture mod, load it at the highest priority and see if the problem goes away. That would at least tell you if Bodyslide is working properly. If you are using Mod Organizer you can more easily see if a mod is overwriting your chosen body texture files, look for the ⚡ with a red➖ under it.
cheesecheeto Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 This also happens when you use a head Rear fix. The head rear fix will replace the texture files that are in the basehumanfemale folder as you use another folder called CBBE or CBBEHeadRearFix. the textures get pulled from the CBBE or CBBEHeadRearFix folder not the basehumanfemale folder in game but fixes the Rear head problem. Bodyslide uses the basehumanfemale folder. for the textures, so you get this bug in the Bodyslide preview.
