Over the years I've tried out a number of adult magazine cover replacers but I could never find one that fully clicked with me - so I finally decided to make my own. This was originally just something I made for myself, but since it ended up taking quite a bit more time than expected I decided that it would be a shame not to share it in case someone out there is still interested in checking out yet another Fallout 4 adult magazine cover replacer.

 

This mod replaces all 140 magazine covers in the base-game and the dlcs including the 10 magazines of La Coiffe, Taboo Tattoos and RobCo Fun that are cut content because I'm an idiot and only looked at what magazine textures are included in the game files. Not included are the three magazines I'm aware of that are part of various Creation Club content.

 

The magazine covers feature both photos and artwork from a plethora of sources and range from subtle and not so subtle nudity to straight up porn. I'm well aware that some people don't like using photos instead of drawings for these kinds of mods - I get it, it can be a bit of an immersion-breaker in a game that isn't exactly photo-realistic, but at the end of the day I primarily made this for myself, so it is what it is. All images used are proper high-res and none of them have squished aspect ratios just to fit the page. The texture resolution is 1k for the in-world items and 2k for inspection view / loading screens. The mod is definitely not lore-friendly by a long shot, but I've mostly tried to stick with the original layouts and used images that seem at least somewhat related to the theme of the magazines.

 

A few of the covers feature bondage, slavery, forced sex, sex with monsters and chicks with dicks, so if any of that is a no-go for you then either don't download or just delete the magazines you don't like from the archive.

 

ISTALLATION
Install using your preferred mod manager. If you insist on still installing mods manually in 2022 (not recommended since uninstalling becomes a massive headache) then use 7zip to extract the textures folder from the archive into your Fallout data folder.

Where did you find these images, they are fantastic quality, I would love to see more works like this after using your mod.

The images are from all over the place. The main sources are probably Imagefap.com, Lucious.net, NSFWAlbum.com & Rule34.Paheal.net, but most of it is stuff that has been sitting on my computer for years (I'm a bit of a digital porn hoarder), so I can't really tell anymore where it's all originally from. If there are any specific images in the mod that you want a source for I might be able to help, but no promises.

 

I've also used an AI Upscaler (Cupscale) and GIMP's Resynthesizer plug-in on a bunch of pics that didn't look quite as nice as I would have liked them to, so some of that high quality is actually "fake".

it's cool. i tried it out, but i wanted to collect every single one and the difference in titles threw me off, felt unimmersive af despite being related to the cover, it took away from the process of collecting them for completion

You should make a standalone version. Something that uses these and maybe some more for deco sake. Excellent choices.
