arak2 Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 i have made and bought a strip bar. however some interactions seem to not be working. the "assign tasks" for strippers/ escorts are not working and even after assigning seats for lap dance , the only options that appear are "manage dance animations" and "unassign lap dance spot". the options 'tend bar" , "charm clients", "stage dance". also do not appear. is this some mod inconpatibility. wrong configuration or is it because of the xml injector? i have wicked whims, nisa perversions and sacrificials hoe it up installed. thanks
Eyegore Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Wicked Whims and nisa both are pretty trouble free for me. Ho it up seems redundant and is likely the culprit. I don't really see you needing it as nisa's mod using the "slutify" command will get you what ho it up does. So my guess ho it up is conflicting and since the updates for that mod is slow your better off without it. If you were using a mod manager--say like Nexus's Vortex it would likely warn of conflicts and give override options--- but missing that I'd just manually remove ho it up and see how things work.
arak2 Posted February 19, 2022 Author Posted February 19, 2022 Nexus vortex looks interesting. but i have no idea how to use it. but thanks because i may give it a try. it was not hoe it up though. have no idea what the problem is. the clients seem to behave accoding to the mod. its just the sims you play that are bugged, not the a.i is it related to xml injector, maybe?
arak2 Posted February 19, 2022 Author Posted February 19, 2022 (edited) alright. after i deleted hoe it up i was indeed able to ask for a private dance. it seems that one of the problems was that the strip club was too crowded since it was too small. that caused problems. increasing the number of beds and seats reduces problems. arak2 Posted February 19, 2022 Author Posted February 19, 2022 however. it seems that i can not ask for a private dance by clicking on chairs, unless im the strip club owner. and sometimes the option of strip dancer does not appear. only if the strip dancer is doing the pole dance stuff. hence its kinda rare to be able to ask for a dance.
Eyegore Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 indeed the strip club itself can add problems. I posted this in another thread so lazily I'll past it here: Members 3 Posted January 12 (edited) I can see the frustration. I've downloaded and played a lot of strip clubs and most have issues, customers getting on the stage, bar drinks not selling, strippers not doing tricks, janitors not cleaning up....etc etc etc One strip club on LL that just 'works' is Dark Angel strip club. It is designed so doors can be locked to keep customers from the employee areas and stage, it has 2 bars that actually turn a decent profit, an upstairs dance floor and rooms for the tricks, that actually get used. An outside area so you can also dance or grill some food or relax in the hot tub. It's only downside is it's a little large but i think this solves most pathing issues. Also the default 6 strippers really isn't enough for all the areas. several lap dance areas, a large dance stage, 3 trick rooms not to mention the upstairs dance DJ. Of course there's a way to increase strippers so I highly recommend at least 8. The only thing I had to do was add a door to the outside patio probably due to CC I don't have. Other than that is is best 'working' strip club on LL and I've tried most of them and even some on the sims ingame download. P.S. Remember to use nina's perversions and to slutify your strippers and also lock the two doors to employee only for the backstage area and this works well out of the box.
Eyegore Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 As a follow up there may be things in Wicked whims and nina's mod you've yet discovered. As mentioned these two mods do everything Ho it up does but they also do a lot more things. If your in your strip club and you want a dancer to turn tricks you use the 'nina slutify' (name) command. However once used this blocks any romancing or relationship options with that sim. They will give you a piece of the take and a free lap dance. If however you play that sim and use a computer and 'register' the sim that will allow the sim to turn tricks on any lot that has the corresponding flag--which you can add under build. It's discribed as a escort service. So it is very possible to get this sim to move in and turn tricks on your own lot--while you enjoy the services for free and get a take as well. Another option however is to use whicked whims "personalization" to give these sims whicked traits to shape them how you want. Want multiple lovers and not only no one gets jelous but they want to watch or take part---whicked traits has all these and more. other options for Nina's mod found via a computer is Tam store items---nail polish and clit piercing can be fun. Your have to switch to your lover and play them to get the piercing. You can also get 'love Dolls' which really aren't dolls but random community sims that have been brainwashed into sex slavery. Basemental Drugs plays well with these mods too. The only thing I do not like about it is if a sim is 'smoking' or doing drugs you can't interact with them while the animation plays. Other than that it is an intertesting way to play with sims 'moods'. These 3 mods are well supported. Almost all animations found on LL are for them as well as the props. Vortex is good for easily removing an old version and updating a new version as Sims 4 updates roll out---which is pretty frequent. These mods get updated rather quickly. And unlike a lot of 'conflict' detectors Vortex gives you options on what to do about the conflict. For example say a modder has 3 different Strip clubs or houses on LL and you install all of them. It is likely the modder used the same modded bed or prop in all of them. They will show as conflicts. Rather deleting all but one you can tell Vortex to simply use the latest file and solve the conflicts. You will get a notice of these and an option to 'view' them. This is where you decide what action. Vortex manages many games--so to use it you must select sims4-- you can easily switch amonmg other games including sims3--Skyrim, etc Once your game is selected you go to 'mods' and you simply drag the mod's zip file into the box. No need to unzip as Vortex does this automatically. Because it expects zip files if you drag a package file here instead that isn't zipped vortex will ask to create a mod and you simply say yes. That's about all there is to it. Real simple. I hope this helps some.
sweetcheeks4545 Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Hey, Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I'm currently having issues as the bar owner, e.g. my employees show up and don't move unless I specifically tell a dancer to dance (mind you by clicking "pole dance", not by assigning a pole), and even then, the others just stand around idle The option to assign jobs doesn't even come up for me.
