CoD4 and others... (2nd life)

I played Cod4 to death at one point. So i stopped.

Now, after a lifetime it seems, i downloaded it again.

The 6GB file was at the time huge, now its small compared to more recent games.

 

But, no multiplayer. But, wait there is something.

I found, that there is a mod for the game, so you can play it online again.

This is amazing. A game that gets so much love.

 

Anyway, seems to work and i just wanted to share. Normally multiplayer games die quickly. This one seems to have a second life to live on. Especially if you do not want to buy another new version.

that's cool, make me think of how i just found out recently you can still play mario kart wii multiplayer lol. apparently you don't even have to mod the wii, it's just custom servers
