Strange pattern on back of character's head...

Anyone happen to know what's going on here? I've posted on this before but it was for the body. The farther away I am from them, the more prominent the lines get. (They get bigger and bigger.) They seem to become much more visible in direct or intense light, and I honestly don't know if this is a rendering issue or just part of the game. Never noticed this before and I'm certain I would notice something like this. If anyone happens to know what causes this or has experienced something similar, please let me know. It doesn't look that bad in the picture, but it gets much worse in certain situations that really turns the problem into an eyesore.
