Karyleinne Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 (edited) Hello everybody, I wanted to know if it was possible to get a proper mod conversion of this mod for SSE I tried to do the conversion by myself, but I end up having missing textures (weird grey textures). I used Nif Optimizer, and NifSkope to try to make the textures match the meshes, but to no avail. So I am here to request some help. Thanks in advance ! Â Â Edited February 9, 2022 by Karyleinne
3reaker Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Not posting a solution (sorry). Just posting a sympathetic "confused".  I'd never heard of Blaze until I saw your post, but he's a bit gorgeous, isn't he, so I had a look to see if I could fare any better than you, but nope, same issue.  I optimized the nifs in CAO, and checked them in NifSkope, where they load up fine, and disply all the correct textures, just as they should. But when the nifs load in game, while they still pick up the body texture correctly, they just get a grey "meh" for his package.  I tried changing the DDS format, adding (and removing mipmaps), bundling them into a BSA or leaving them loose. I checked that the correct meshes were bing referenced in the esp, but of course they are or his package woudln't display in grey in game, but I'm stumped. Everything appears to be correct, but something clearly isn't. But I'm afraid that's now bumping into the level of my knoledge about how textures are applied to nifs  Hopefully some kindly expert will happen upon this thread, spot something glaringly obvious we both missed, and show us how to make them work.
xtro334 Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 (edited) MNC Mod Compability Kit (under downloads for MNC) have a patch for this, but I needed to unpack the mod and make a zip-file for the blaze folder to get it to work. Make sure to load it after Blaze main mod. Edited July 25, 2024 by xtro334
