Tenchu: Fatal Shadows - Mods (PCSX2)

It's actually texture mods for a PS2 game via the PCSX2 emulation. I don't think custom model swapping is a thing for stuff this old.

 

I only recently learnt how to do this, so I don't have anything worthwhile to share other than my crappy texture edit that I never polished because I can't tell where is where, but I will share the relevant tools in case anyone is interested in using them. (They don't exist anymore for some reason.) The latest PCSX2 build doesn't seem to support plugins as far as I can tell, so the only method is to use PCSX2 1.6.0. If any PCSX2 users know of any later builds that can accept plugins, please let me know.

 

txtconfig+plugin.rar

 

Put these in the same folder as the exe.

And also set your GC to "AVX2 1.2.0", as well as check if the "Texture Manipulation Function" is available. Have to untick "GPU Palette Conversion" to use it.

Loved this game. Was hoping for a later title of it, but never actually saw one...
I had my laugh whenever I grab-cutthroat the enemies since the Voice and SFX used during the execution is funny when heard.

I now have an emu that can accept larger textures thanks to a certain modding community.

 

I tried to upscale everything using Gigapixel AI, but that might be more than I can chew. I should focus on making a decent nude texture for the girls. XD (And probably for some male characters, if possible. The blind boss is a good candidate given his rapey personality)
