Beach ball transparency

Hello!

 

I am working on a mod to replace the beach ball with other objects, some of which have transparency. So far I've only been able to get it partially working. I was able to export a few shaders, each having a bit different effect and partially making the object transparent. However, it looks like some distance objects don't render but a few things behind them do, and in many cases including very distant objects or the sky, the areas just render as black usually.

 

I'm looking for any assistance anyone might be able to bring to this. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing and also a quick INI/HLSL/PNG sample file that I'm using to test with. I've included the 3 shaders I've tried (two exported and one I found here on the forums).
