APL Avatar Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 I am installing Skyrim SE after years so I am not sure what works a nd what doesnt. I am using MO2 to install them: I am looking for the best currently used physics/boob physics mod, and what body type do you recommend? I like proportions to be kind of realistic, no giant breasts but something better than vanilla, maybe lightly muscular but not too muscular for civilian characters. (Not sure if more than 1 skin type can be applied to NPC at the moment.) Also something to make guys look a bit more presentable without looking like a POP icon would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
imai8312 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Female bodies either/or: - 3BA https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30174 - BHUNP https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31126 Either can achieve 'realistic' shapes based on your own creation in BodySlide (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/201) or one of the many different presets available for download. Skin textures of many varieties are available, pick you preference but maintain consistency with the body type you choose - 3BA/CBBE OR BHUNP/UNP. Examples: Youthful, perfect: Diamond (CBBE/UNP) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/45718 More realistic: Realore (CBBE/UNP) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62739 Muscles come mostly from normal maps available as options in most skin texture mods. Stand alone muscle normals exist for more customization. Examples: SNU (CBBE) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/61908 CNHF (BHUNP) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59206 (only BHUNP/UNP stand alone muscle normal I could find, however most skin texture mods have a muscular normal map option when installing). There are mods that create body shape variations in npcs based on bodyslide presets such as OBody but I have not used them. Physics: CBPC (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21224) is the primary one and required. The amount of bounce and softness can be chosen on installation and in the install of 3BA/BHUNP. You can tweak it further yourself or there are config files available for tweaked settings such as https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59123 HDT-SMP https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57339 - particularly necessary for hair and clothes physics but can be applied to bodies as well, however beware of performance impact if used excessively. Males: Skin mods such as Tempered Skins or Vitruvia will make most males look good. There are many different replacers to improver their looks further. Examples: Pride of Skyrim: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/48904 - requires High Poly Heads which is highly recommended for much more realistic and next gen looking male and females. (Female replacers by the same author exist also https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/30938655?tab=user+files) Other options - Men of Winter, Northbourne, Pandorables, A Rose in the Snow (realistic women faces), etc.
