Default vs Non-Default Body Parts/Feet

Hi All!  Can someone please explain the difference between Default and Non-Default body parts (e.g., Feet)?  For example, I have the awesome MagicBot V7 Feet and they have a Default and Non-Default versions.  How do I use each and what is different?  Can I have both installed in Mods?  I have tried using both but can't see any difference - just want to make sure I am using them correctly.  Thank you for any help!

Default version will replace the default feet of all sims and with non-default version you can replace feet of any sim in-game by clicking your sim > Wicked... > Body Selector > Feet

Thank you for your kind help RmX? So if I have both versions in my Mods folder will all Sims I create use the feet by "default" or do I still need to choose it in CAS? Sorry I'm still a bit confused but learning a l ot!

I think it should use the feet by default so it means also when you create new sims, use both versions and check in game if all sims are using the feet mod you installed.

Thank you again RxM. When I create a new Sim, they seem to have random feet.  I have a few saved so I will keep trying to experiment with this.  Really appreciate your kind help and replies!
