Getting close to being done with Lora. I little bit model work, need to do texture work and ensure animations work

Lora is the game, she still needs a bit of work, but ive learned that torna mods have a different way of being installed.

 

Torna mods need a file loader like XC3, which ive posted here xcnx-file-loader-xc2-ww.zipxcnx-file-loader-torna.zip

 

There is a specific file loader for people who have a physical cartridge, but I dont have a physical torna cartridge, so I cant test torna mods for it. If anyone has a physical cartrtidge, youll have to figure it out yourself, unless someone shares that information here. For everyone else, use the xc2-ww file, the torna mods go into the base 0100E95004038000 mods folder, along with the file loader

 

Once the loader is extracted, it will create an atmosphere folder where ever you extracted it to, youll have to extract the exefs and romfs into a new folder, or move them into the base atmosphere folder and rename it to whatever you want

I plan on getting back into xenoblade after the October game rush, and I can't wait to play xeno2 again. Haven't played it since launch. All these mods look so amazing cant wait to play. Thank you modders for making this possible

Lora is basically done. I have one more variation I want to do, but that will come soon. Includes an option for lora not wearing pants, a normal nude and my standard 2 pregnant variations

Quick question, and sorry if it's already been asked. Will mods for base game characters who also show up in Torna still work for Torna? Mythra, for example.

Make sure you follow the instructions from sinonwastaken's earlier post about installing the mod loader for Torna as it won't work without that (and that you're using the right one).

 

I've not had a chance to try it myself yet, but I'll be giving it a go when I have time to see if I can get it working.

No, they have their own torna specific models, for example lora has a base game model named npsomething, the np standing for non playable, and she has a model named pc700101 for torna.

Ive been meaning to try and take a pre existing mod like mythra nude and simply rename the files inside to see if she would show up nude in game with no problems, and no extra work

If it's potentially as simple as renaming the files, is there a list of model names anywhere? I don't mind giving them a quick test at some point to see if they load.

 

I got the Lora mod working! I had to put both that mod and the file loader in the 0100e95004038000 folder for it to work.

Having to put in the 8000 folder is how these mods are properly loaded, I cant say if its the same for someone who has a physical torna carridge though

 

Renaming mods does work, but there may be some small issues due to small differences in animation weight data

 

For the blades characters, youll have to go in a change some folder names as well as files within that folder. [Modname]/romfs/bl -> [Modname]/romfs/pc

For most mods only 2 files will be inside the new pc folder. it'll have a .wimdo and a .wimst, change the name from blsomething to pcsomething. Examples below

 

brighid's normal id is bl001001, her torna id is pc700801

 

Mythra has 2 torna id's. One for her normal model, pc700601, and the one for her tights pc710601

 

It doesnt matter too much, since she doesn't appear till one of the last cutscenes, but pyra has a torna id as well pc701001

Last mod for Lora, she's decided to do a partial nude cosplay of Jin. Lora Jin Cosplay.zip

There are some light clipping problems. Depending on where you stand, her leg may clip through the skirt which can be fixed by moving, and in some cutscenes, part of her shoulder clips through the top armor piece for a second before it return to normal

Started tinkering around with removing bits of clothing from models to see how they look. Here's what I've done so far. The Krujah/Harghal mod needs some more texture work done than I have the skill to do. I included the texture files and the PDN file I was using to edit them in their archive in case someone more skilled than myself wants to finish the job. KOS-MOS could use a little texture work to get rid of the shading where the deleted bits of skirt used to lay on the front of her thighs. It's not as noticeable as the shading issues with K&H.

Includes bare foot, normal nude, pregnant and pubic hair <--- (someone wanted this option. Doesnt look super great) options. Every version also includes an option to remove the sash around her, the tiara on her head, and both of those removed at the same time

Got a couple more model tweak mods done over the last couple days. Vale required a slight adjustment to raise the leggings in order to close a gap covered by the torn skirt flap. I have a Kasandra (no outer skirt) mod that's potentially ready for testing, but I'm just waiting on RNGesus to let me pull her before uploading. I still have no idea why the Crosette one I worked on keeps crashing the game, but I'll give that one another shot after I make some more headway into the game.

I hate being one of those types of people who pressures modders in any way, but it's been a couple more months so I was just wondering if you had an update for us on the breast expansion mods? I've really been looking forward to them. 🙃
