Use the one attached to this post, I know that one works. It's from RaceMenu Special Edition v0-4-16-19080-0-4-16-1601805673, something to keep in mind if you update RM later or already have a newer version. nioverride.pex 12.44 kB · 1 download Ah, so you did. I suppose I was a little intimidated by the mention of creation kit - last time I fiddled with anything in there back in the days before LE, even the slightest change broke things so bad I had to reinstall everything from scratch. I suppose it's different these days, though. For anyone else searching this topic though and computer literate but not mod-fluent like me, place traison's kindly provided file into this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Scripts And once again, thanks to traison for their kind time and attention. 1

Is it necessary to delete any other files or anything like that? Or just providing that file should do the trick by itself?

The end result you want is to make sure the pex file is not being overwritten by anything else. What that means in practice is, again, up to your mod manager. In MO2, create a new mod and place the pex file in the scripts\ directory. Make sure your new mod loads in a position where it is not overwritten by something else. The conflicts tab will help you figure this out.
ThatSirCreeper Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 I figured it out and it,s realy simple. disable your old racemenu in your mod launcher Download the race menu for your version of the game Download the molders package Both can be found on nexus In the same download area Open both side by side with 7-zip Drag an drop all files with nioverride into the racemenu folder Click yes for adding to archive Save an exit Then install via your mod launcher "for me its the vortex" Lastly enable your new race menu Sometimes iv noticed this can have issues So try drag an dropping everything from your molders package into the racemenu mod instead an disable one by one if it says anything in game by repeating the process by not adding the problematic files An u can disable the modder package if your mod launcher says its not needed.. Tends to fix it, hope this helps
