NSFW Character and Setting Writing Wondering How to Get Into Modding

Howdy; Title should be self-explainable; I'm a NSFW character and setting writer whose been trying to make a Darkest Dungeon inspired NSFW game centered more on PvP aspects rather than eldritch beings (Even though they're pretty great). However, until further notice, this has been... basically a bust, even with some pretty decent writing for some ideas under my belt. So now, I turn my attention to the modding community, wondering how to get into it as a writer, making the ideas for moments, motions, characters, and the like. Is it possible? Is there a place to go to show off examples of my writing? Or am I stuck? An answer would be most helpful, or even a request, it would mean quite a bit to me.

Many people who make mods and NSFW games (or attempt to) have a lot of great ideas to put into their projects. The issue with this is that the ideas don't mean much without application. If your skill set is writing and you don't have any other skills to contribute to a project, you will run into a lot of difficulty getting your ideas into the world especially as a small developer. Many small developers have an idea for a project and require programmers and artists to bring it to life. If you want to bring your ideas to life I suggest you start practicing a new skill to pair with your writing skills. Programming and writing can be a powerful force, as you can simply hire artists to illustrate your ideas and then program them into a game.

Additionally, you could always make a text based game on a minimalist development program such as RPG Maker. You could also learn a little about programming while you're at it. It just depends on what kind of project you're aiming for. I would always recommend starting small as you would naturally grow in experience and there is a higher chance of getting the project finished, as game development can be a tough and arduous process.

As for writing in the modding community, there are very few games who's story can be edited or added onto and even fewer that require only writing to fully develop their lewd scenes.
