Changing hotkeys in mod config will always bug and crash the game

Whenever i change hotkeys in the mod config menu, it'll get stuck in a loop where i can't access any other mod menus nor exit the menu. If i were to quicksave or save, it'll eventually crash. Any fixes?

which mod mcm is this happening in?  A specific mod or many/all mod mcm?
