How do I get a mesh to be the same color as one of the hair color presets

I'm trying to combine a hood and a hair mesh together so I can have hair under my hood for my character. However I'm not sure how to change the color of the hair, also how to make it so it's the same color as "warm black" which is the color preset I'm using. Any insight would be appreciated!
