mca0004 Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 I'm trying to play a new game of fallout 4, but I've got these two weird issues with LooksMenu. 1: Atomic Beauty - AB does not seems to by applying to my character. I have it installed and enabled, and the sliders are appearing in game, but they don't seem to do anything. 2: Atomic Muscle - AM has the problem where the model goes all trianglely. The slider are in game and they do have an effect on the character, but not the desired one. The load order is: 62 - Atomic Muscle LM Patch 66 - LooksMenu 70 - Atomic Beauty Any help would be greatly appreaciated. And if you need any more info, I'll be happy to provide it. Images attached.
mca0004 Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 Update: I've managed to fix the Atomic Beauty problem, I had forgotten to build it in Bodyslide (whoops). Also, I had a better look at the requirements for Atomic Muscle, amd discorvered I hadn't installed them, so I installed a EVB based texture, and ZaZ Extended Skeleton, and then rebuilt the character in Bodyslide. This didn't fix the model bugging out however, the problem for AM has not been fixed.

It's best to have your mods disabled in the pre-war section of the game. You can still use looksmenu to make a preset, but it's likely going to be wonky if you have physics mod enabled. Try making your character (after you build the male body) and then see if it looks ok when you get passed this. Once you get to post war then make a save and enable the rest of your mods and open the game again.

So you're suggesting I disable all my mods expect my looksmenu and body mods, and then reactivate them once I leave the vault? Sure, it's worth a shot.
Sgt. Marge Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Pretty much, you'll just want to make sure your load order is right after enabling mods. The way I've done it in Mod Organizer 2, is make a profile that just has the Unnoficial patch enabled. Then I make a save post war, exit game, switch to my other profile that has all my mods enabled and sorted, and start the game again. Then I go to Sanctuary and do the codsworth shuffle, and open looksmenu with slm 14 and load my preset and hit done.
Sgt. Marge Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Also if you are using AAF / Adult Mods make sure to use the older Looksmenu 1.6.18
mca0004 Posted December 19, 2021 Author Posted December 19, 2021 UPDATE 2: I figured it out! It's not a problem with my game it's a problem with Atomic Muscle itself. When I have the pre-war outfit selected in Bodyslide, and I try to modify it, it creates the same triangulation. So I'm going to report this as a bug on Atomic Muscle's mod page.
