New possibilities for FF12 modding!

Hello!

 

Somebody has just released a 3D model swap mod for Final Fantasy 12, something that from my understanding seemed impossible until now.

Im not a modder myself, but I hope word gets out and we finally get some mods the FF12 girls deserve! I hope some talented modders here will look into it, that would be a dream come true.

EDIT: It seems that the mod has been removed again from nexusmods. I wonder what was the issue...

So here we go again, another big stepp for FF12 modding.

If somebody knowledgeable in 3D modelling could take a look at this new method it would be awesome! The author of the mod posted that he already created a version of this mod for Penelo but he wont release it, because he doesnt want to get into trouble. Maybe some wizard here could recreate that magic?

A tutorial about how to edit the models in the game has now been released as well! Unfortunately I dont have time to dig into this myself, but I hope I can create at least a bit of awareness and attract some people to the modding scene.
