Probably you have an old Buffout crash log. Could you share it anyway?

The fact that you stop facing crash after debug logs enabling is the indicator that something might be wrong in multi-threading code 

Could you disable debug logs and check that crashes actually disappeared?

Current HUD mod is temporal solution for development/debug purposes only. It is not designed for normal gameplay.

I don't like how HUD Framework works and intend to introduce independent UI for displaying LiP attributes. And yes, gamers will be able to configure this UI.

"Life is Pain" is a common expression in English (or at least American English.

 

"Living is Pain" also sounds fine.

 

"To Live is Pain" comes across as archaic or theatrical.

 

"Live it is Pain" would have to be reworded as something like "Living: It's Pain" to make sense.

Living is Pain should work nicely. To live is pain or live it is pain don't really make much sense grammatically ?

Double-checking it, it actually seems like it's a very minor integration (for some reason I thought there was more interaction w/ the XP grants and Attributes).

Understood - I will keep an eye out and look to mention it in that thread when this is a it further along. :)

 

re: the other message, I'll run the tests you mentioned w/o debugging code on and let you know. Thanks. :)

 

Edit: Can confirm no crashes as well with debug mode off. Perhaps my PC was just being weird that first day!
Edit 2: OK, just crashed on a quicksave. Going to try and turn debug mode on and see if it does the same.

There is no data reflected in pip boy at all.

Potential problem with HUD displaying - incompatibility with Transfer Settlements. Probably some another mod works in similar way as Transfer Settlements and blocks LiP HUD working. Anyway, LiP HUD Addon is not considered for normal gameplay, it is just for development/debug purposes. Handy UI actively is under development.

Could you enable debug output and reproduce crash?

1. Run game and load save

2. Open game console and execute

 

cgf "DS:Debug.SetLogLevel" 4
cgf "DS:Debug.Dump"

 

3. Reproduce crash

4. Share %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE\DS.log

 

To disable debug log you can execute following line in game console

 

cgf "DS:Debug.SetLogLevel" 3

1: yes and no

yes --> I updated lip mid game and random crashes.
no--> I started a new game (save without mods installed) and random crashes too !

 

2: yes and no

yes--> no vanilla companions and random crashes.

no--> companions (temporary) of the captive commonwealth mod and crashes too !

I just tried what you advised me and I played an hour and I had no crashes

I'll start over from a clean save and I'll let you know if you don't mind...
