Shin Megami Tensei V mods

This game just came out a few days ago and apparently people have already figured out the decryption key for the pak files to extract and repack them.  It also emulates well already so is even playable on pc that way.  Already people are doing texture mods but mostly just for the main character's hair color.  You can extract meshes and textures for everything.  I think a lot of the demons would be very moddable and I think that includes a lot of nfsw stuff too.  The developers seem to have paid a lot of attention to detail too.  Some actually should be really easy to mod too.  The mermaid for example has only the equivalent of a partial bikini as scales.

I didn't find a tutorial to edit models yet.  Umodel from that tutorial can extract the models to psk files that can be imported into Blender.  I don't know how to do model editing stuff.  I tried a bit and it seemed like it's probably really easy for anyone who does though.  I was able to select the scales parts then deselect arms and legs since there is nothing under those parts and just delete.  I also deleted the rock prop to make the view more interesting.  But I don't know how to fix the material stuff so it works.  I imported it in Unreal Editor and cooked it but if I view the uasset in Umodel it uses some default texture instead.  It probably would crash the game but I didn't bother to try.  Some of the others need a lot more work and I couldn't possibly do it.

Most of, if not all of the Femme demons are topless with just hair covering themselves. Just shortening the overhanging hair would be a big plus.

practically all demons have bodies underneath their clothes so it should be easy and only require a texture work

That being said the current version of the mod is pretty janky, and has one of the texture maps not swizzled correctly to the Switch format; Even in the picture you can see that the arm deformation isn't great, but I might not be coming back to this mod for a hot minute so I posted it on Patreon as a beta rn

And if by then nobody has done it I will probably mess with the demons too, since like you mentioned a lot of them are almost nude already lol

Hmmm, I just thought of something stupid to test the waters for something that effects male demons. What if someone gave Preta a big black purple dong? It already has a dong, but it's barely noticeable,so adding a large one over the small one would be a good test, as it would be noticeable right away

I think that is what is needed to modify models.  I have given up on trying to do any of this myself.  It is completely beyond me.

Hopefully it gets a PC release. This game deserves to be on better hardware than the Switch. Considering how poorly it runs on a non modded switch.

i did some shitty uv remapping and made this without adding new texture 

but when i try to pack this back to the game, the model doesn't show. i'm completely new to game

 modding so i think trouble shooting is just beyond my reach. so i'm sharing the blend file, and if anyone knows how to make it work, i hope you can finish the work and share the finished mod. Cleopatra.7z
