Beltain Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Hey im new to the site and have been looking around for a dragoon armor mod, based off of the armor in the ps1 game Legend of Dragoon, of which sadly i never got to finish. Ive seen a few requests for some, but i don't think anyone's really took up the challenge. Ill be getting my pc in a few months and am hoping to start modding sometime shortly thereafter, so any help in that aspect would be greatly appreciated. And thanks if someone's already working on this mod, lol could you let me know how far you have gotten so i may be able to praise your mad modding skills?!?!
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 The odds are that the reason none of those requests have ever been taken up is because there are no models available for the Dragoon Armors given the fact it was only released on the ps1 getting the models for use on a PC game would be very difficult if not impossible.

Easily? Not so much. Its rather time consuming. Thats why its so much easier to just rip and port from other games, its a minimum of fuss fitting it to a new body/rigging.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 yeah making them from scratch based on the armor is possible but as jim pointed out it's extremely time consuming to make yourself and most people don't have the time or patience to do it in that way.
