Why are there almost no heels for men?

I know this isn't the first time this topic has been brought up, but hopefully more cc creators will see there's a huge gap in the market. I've had conversations with other simmers on twitter in the past & I just recently had a conversation with a cc creator on tumblr which is what inspired me to ask this burning question. Why are there almost NO HEELS FOR MEN? Like I can literally only think of one pair that exists & it's those super tall boots from imadako. This year I decided to teach myself how to convert already existing ones for my own personal use, which I've been successful at doing after a lot of trial & error. It just annoys me that I even had to resort to doing that in the first place though. Like there are SO MANY options for female sims. Why has no one seen the potential benefit of supplying this demand? Because I'm certain that a substantial amount of people would want them & probably even pay money to get early access. I would make them from scratch myself (who knows perhaps I will in the future) but I want more cc creators to see that this is something that I think could be a real game changer. All puns intended.

This is my first  time commenting on this subject and I have no dog in the hunt, but can't  you just turn off the 'Masculine' tag in CAS, and put existing female shoes on your male sims? Or do you mean something that looks chunky and substantial and 'masculine'?

Those conversions look great, by the way.

Thanks!!! Honestly, I think your opinion matters just as much. Just because a man is straight doesn't mean they can't have an opinion of feminine things or wear feminine things too if they want. In the past I have done what you're suggesting & I do like how A FEW of them look but most of heels that come with the game & dlc packs look very strange when you put them on male sims. Also, most of them look like kitten heels and look very dated. (Nothing wrong with that btw if someone likes that style.)

I was referring to heels that actually look like they were made for men to wear. Heels that are trendy, fashionable, edgy, or sophisticated. Like louboutin stilettos, six-inch pumps, platforms, thigh high boots, etc. I feel like there are just so many options for people that want custom heels for female sims, but the fact that there's only one for men is so mind boggling. If I was able to make cc from scratch, I would really seize the opportunity & fill that gap in the market. I think stuff like this would be fairly popular amongst certain demographics.

Oh, kid. I am anything but straight, as my husband of 18 years can attest. :D My comment alluded more to the fact that I don't utilize such fashion for my male sims, so I don't really have an opinion on it or where to find it. But I was curious to have what you were looking for clarified. Thanks for doing that!

I hope you can find what you're looking for, or perhaps make a name for yourself with your conversions. From what I see, you're off to a good start.

Ooooh well my mistake for assuming.? Congratulations on 18 years btw. That's pretty much a lifetime for our community. And thanks, I don't know if I'd ever put my conversions out there cuz I'm sure some of the original creators wouldn't approve of their meshes being used in that way. Maybe in the future I'll take the time to learn how to make my own from scratch. We'll see I guess.

You wouldn't happen to know what the CC in the images are, would you?

The heels are all conversion I did. Most of the stuff is actually from the base game. The gloves & thigh high socks are from LoveBob. The frilly skirt is by MagneticSims4.

It looks like the dude in the second image has some kind of corset, where's that from?
