How to use AAF Violate?

Hi Guys,

I am quite new to using Mods and Fallout 4 in general.  However, following the guideline of AAF adult setup I managed to get it done (at least, it doesn`t crash, instantly). I installed AAF violate on vortex and checked the mod details in the game. But how is it supposed to work?

I am on the mission "the first step" (? as I play the german version I am not sure), So I attack a raider base- being level 4 perhaps a little too overcofident. But I still get shoot, until I die and end up reloading.

 

1. Should an option to surrender pop up, as your health drops below the threshold?

2. Do you need to be close to your enemys?

3. Do you need to talk to them / press the surrender button?

 

Every clarification is appreciated.

If you hit Esc and go to mod options you can set up a hotkey to surrender manually to test and see if the mod is working, also check the various options and you can see how you can adjust the threshold for health and whether the companion should be included.  There's also options for whether the enemy will surrender.  If you are not having enemy's raising their hands at you when you shot them to a certain health threshold, the mod might not be working because I believe that happens by default.

 

Edit: if configured properly it will happen on it's own, your hands will raise when you reach a certain health, and the scene should start within a minute or so.

Thanks for your help. I can trigger it with the hotkey (if an enemy is visible) and it even triggered once automatically. Looks like I wasn´t below the limit, before.

 

However, I ran into the next problem: The PC gets stripped and robbed (the quest to retrieve the stolen goods activate)- fine. But than, nothing happens. No violation occurs (checked with human raiders and ghouls). And as the mod script is waiting for that to happen, it is effectivly a plot stop.

 

I thought, that I installed all requirements (aaf-fucking-manual-up-to-date-adult-oriented-setup-guide-1october2021/). I guess, I have to chew through your guides to figure out, what is missing...
