RaceMenu Body Morphs not saving between sessions

thats my problem. i recently started messing with body scales, and was having a good time, until i noticed that every new session of skyrim, my settings were just not applied. the values were saved - all the sliders were at the same values, but the morphs were not applied to the body on load. i have to re-apply them every time i load a game. obviously this is not idea.

 

the few threads there are all suggest the same solution - to quit skyrim after making changes. then they should persist. ive tried that, both with the vanity mirror mod and the showracemenu console command; with quicksaves and manual saves. it dont work for me.

 

i tried fiddling in skee.ini. found a setting there about loading overrides which looked promising, but did nothing.

 

also, there are exceptions. breast fullness and sagginess work just fine, and are preserved between sessions. typical.
