CTD when using ENB outside

To make a long story short, I CTD whenever the "Use Effects" option is ticked in my ENB menu. I just discovered, however, that at least inns are an exception, so it is likely an issue with going outside.

My load order closely matches the one in Aylis' "Skyrim SE for Beginners - V 3.2.5 (3BBB / HDT-SMP / HPH)" guide, if that helps.

I have also noticed that recent versions of Rudy ENB might have a slightly different install process than other ENBs, so I might have misunderstood a step during installation.

 

Does anyone know why this could be happening, and how I might fix it?
