Well, not literally, but he has an issue.

Poor old Dogmeat seems to be missing his tackle.

I have all the required mods installed, AAF works fine, animations work, he'll even mount the poor raiders that get on his bad side and hump away, except he's missing the required equipment, despite his enthusiasm.

I tried installing Creature resources, but it completely frigged my game up, removing it fixed the issues.  (and he was still without a tool both with and without the mod)

 

I have "Dogmeat for Animations" it's installed, but not activated yet.

 

will be a last resort to see if it helps..

 

Anyone got an idea how I can fix this so my poor old pooch can get his rocks off ?

You shouldn't need that.  Have you tried the Up-To-Date Adult oriented setup guide ?  If you haven't I would read through that very carefully and follow the instructions especially with regards to the patches.  It's what I followed, and everything works pretty well.

 

Edit:  Also, you do in fact need Creature Resources, and it's included in the Ultimate AAF Patch, but you need to read the guide I linked above and follow it, the patch is linked there.

yep, that's how I set everything up and have it running, minus Dogmeat's wedding tackle. I did however fix it in a way by downloading https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33410 and copying the mesh from enhanced dogmeat genitals edit into that folder, the only problem is that good old Dogmeat is now hung like a mule, I suppose he's pleased at least, but either way, it's working, now I only need to work out how to perform a surgical reduction to fix the blood flow to his head, lol, there's not much left over I think.

Interesting, thanks for posting your fix.  If other creatures work fine that would indicate that you have the "UAP" (Ultimate AAF Patch) installed with the creatures checkbox during the installer process.  If that's the case, not sure why that wouldn't have also made Dogmeat function but hey, I guess you'll have to work extra hard to make sure he's satisfied then

I had UAP running but it conflicted with several other mods at the time. Disabling it left only this 1 issue as opposed to several, so it's really just a small thing........except for maybe DongMeat lol

I'm pretty sure it was in [FO4] [AAF] Themes - VanillaSexAnimations, Kinky/Aggressive and CreatureSexAnimations 210819.0

I haven't played FO4 for a while and have actually uninstalled it until I eventually go back to it, so I'm not 100% certain.

quick question i have been having the same issue with dogmeat and im 99.9 percent sure i did this correctly but his junk is still missing hes got his other shit but the required tool is missing. ik its asking a lot but im still new and thought i would ask for some help with following your steps
