Stiletos Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I quit playing Skyrim many years ago now but have decided to get back into it. The actual Skyrim gameplay and Sexlab/mods (defeat, CBBE, Racemenu, hairstyles, ect...) will both be a focus. Right now I own the vanilla "Legendary" version of the game and will be upgrading to either SE or VR. If people can help with a few answers to some questions that would guide the decision. 1) How does Sexlab/Defeat mesh into VR? Do you see the scenes all via first person? Do the scenes flip to third person? Can you toggle/choose how it is viewed through the headset? I would be curious on this from the POV of both victim and attacker and whether the VR version of Skyrim adds a more immersive experience while not losing the "scene" as you cannot see most of what is actually going on. Are there "scenes" in Defeat that have been specifically created for, and take advantage of the first person POV in VR? 2) Is modding Skyrim VR as straightforward as modding the SE version? A simple dump of mods into Mod Organizer for either? Is it buggy or pretty streamlined at this point? 3) For SE I know there are a ton of clothing options, followers, hairstyle mods, race mods and body changers ported over. Does VR have a pretty good selection of the mods? For things like clothing and the like do you need VR versions of the mods or will clothing mods from the standard version of Skyrim load into the VR version? My thoughts are that VR Skyrim would be a fresh change for the normal gameplay. A fun way to play through a game I have gone through many times. If the Sexlab side of things works really well and does not lose most of the graphical aspects of the "scenes" and adds that immersion to being right in a scene it is win/win. If Sexlab suffers under VR though that would be a hard pass as it is a important aspect of my time in Skyrim and one of the key reasons I am getting back into it. Thanks for any information from those who have experienced all of this and know the positives and negatives to each.
