Face stuck on my character!?

I have no idea what's going on here. My character is stuck with this face no matter what...

 

 

 

As you can see it's horribly mismatched.

 

If I use a skin override, it doesn't override the face at all but the body changes...

 

 

 

 

and I can change skin color but the face remains the same...

 

 

Here you can see the orginal files for that body/face combo that's suppose be there and they match in terms of being pale  etc...

 

 

Things that haven't worked...

 

1) Removing all makeup/extras.

2) The traditional 'select a face part and drag it'. This has solved every other issue like this.

3) Reinstalling 'rusty face fix'.

4) Disabling the neck/read head fix mods.

5) Starting a new game.

6) Removing the 'basehuman female' folder entirely. The same face/body combo remained despite this.

7) Disabling literally every mod and then starting a new game. (PSA: Mod manager won't re-enable .esl files)

8 ) Having mod manager re-install a different set of textures.

 

My last option seems to be to uninstall/reinstall the entire game but not super into that.

Your issue is not with the body, your face has no eyebrow and a brown color. Looks like there is a mismatch resolution between face/Makeup/extras.

If you open F4ee.ini in Data/F4se do you have this :

uTintWidth=1024
uTintHeight=1024

otherwise try to change to 1024

Are you using the same character preset ? try with Nora default preset

skin override only change the body, to change face you need to access it in lookmenu

It's the same problems either way though. That just rules it out as a potential solution.

 

Also yes, the ini is set to 1024 in height and width.

I tried with all the presets, same thing happens. New character, new game, all presets, all previous characters being loaded, using different texture sets.

I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled and this is still happening.
