Why are sex and pregnancy handled so differently in Stardew Valley ?

In almost every game starting from oblivion and fallout 3, and from sims 1 to sims 4, one of the two things are always common in all of them -

 

1) pregnancy happens either naturally or never happens.

 

2) Or it happens due to mods that feature risky sex etc.

 

In short, all of these above mentioned games have a certain, particular types of mods that feature fertilizing both the player and npc's due to some careless drunk one-night stands etc. 

 

In Stardew Valley however, there is sex, as well as pregnancy. But there is no risky sex. None at all. For example, those who have played Xtardew Valley mod, they must have seen that forest camping event, where the farmer screws with that blue-haired girl in the middle of night. 

 

Now imagine if that girl got knocked up because of that little adventure, how immersive will that be ? But since pregnancy is not interconnected with sex in Stardew Valley, so nothing happens.
