Got it working once but broke in a weird way

I appreciate the fact that you have a lot more support info than most modders!

Yeah, I got it to work... once then I messed it up some how. I used Vortex to install/uninstall the program and then reinstalled.

Everything seemed to install properly and I was able to any one of the 'mats' that I wanted.

So far so good. I then assigned an NPC to that object and all still looked well UNTIL...

I found that I can no longer communicate with my NPC at all. I'm using Fallout 4 VR and when I try and barter/speak/etc to the character there is just no  response from her.

My theory at this  point is that the key mapping for that A button on my controller has some how lost it's assignment... or something to that effect.

Any ideas on what I might try?

The only way I can get control of her back is to uninstall the mod in Vortex. I can than reinstall and she works fine until you place that first 'mat' and then ***POOF*** there's no more control.
