Sad Character :(

So was playing a bit today and noticed something odd. My character looks sad.

 

Like as if she was at a birthday party and was happy to get a plate of cake, and then someone came along and slapped the plate out of her hand, type sad. Just like a "... wh.. why would you do that?" sadness just before the tears.

 

It's not a major issue or anything, but it's something I never noticed before until now. Any idea what might be causing her to be so depressed?

Maybe you have a mod that uses the different face animations and it got stuck in sad?

Actually its something about Sexlab. I thought for awhile that it might have been Estrus but it definitely seems related to Sexlab. I asked Ashal about it but didn't see a response.

 

Sprinting for a moment or mfg expression 0 0 in console will fix it for the duration of your play.

 

Perhaps shes sad that shes not having sex? I dunno really what the logic is in SL for calling the mfg modifier and not resetting it after the sequence is complete.

 

If you don't have SL installed then I'm not sure, but I see this a lot too and it started happening around the time SL was released I believe.

Are you using the headtracking mod?

If yes try the latest version (if you haven't it already) and turn headtracking off in the ModConfigurationMenu.

 

If not, try the animation/pose mod PuppeteerMaster which offers the possibility of resetting the face in game.

 

I heard that shouting should also reset the expression, but I cannot confirm that.

She could also download master puppeteer, an excellent mod that allows you to change your character's emotion among other things.

Like I said, wasn't a big issue but was just curious why she got sad all the sudden. But yeah, it is most likely SexLab from what you said, since I didn't notice any of this happening until after I installed SexLab.
