Exporting a followers face to use as a player face?

So if I have a follwer mod is there anyway I can export the face it has so that I can use it as my own player character?

Like export it and use it as a preset or something?
I know you can do this using the CK kit for your own player but what about a follower?

I'm in the same situation as MasterVampire, I want to export a followers face as my own. But custom warpaint used on a follower doesn't get applied on my characters face for some reason. Same for followers custom hair/brow color.

Thanks for that guide but I just can't get it to work!

 

I follow the steps and add the follower face as a character race preset and create the esp file but in game it won't show up in the presets.
