BadManiac Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 I can't seem to get XP32 to work with CBBE, so what alternatives do I have? What works the best? Looking for a close to vanilla/CCBE body style. Thanks.
Spyder Arachnid Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Since SexLab is laregly a sex animation mod, you will likely want nude male and female bodies. While the mod does come with a nudesuit option, that remains an imperfect solution in many scenarios. There are many body mods to choose from, personally I use and suggest Dimon99's UNP for females and 4uDIKs Real Body for males. A BBP enabled skeleton is also useful, as many of the animations include BBP support, though it is optional. I'd suggest XP32's Maximum Skeleton. There is support for other strapons for females to use, but you will need to download and install them separately and run the "Rebuild Strapon List" option from the menu's Rebuild page if you install or remove any after loading the mod. The supported strapon mods are aeonflux88's strapon, Horker Tusk, Futa Equippable, & Cozy & Rebels Equippable TG They have these suggestions on the main download of SexLab for you. I would assume though, that any body type would work with SexLab, just might be some clipping or misplacement depending on which one you use. Unsure why you can't get CBBE to work with XP32 though. Are you using the BodySlide tool to give yourself a CBBE BBP body first? And then afterwards, putting the XP32 Skeleton in your folder (overwriting any skeletons place by any other mods)? Instead of saying "they're not working", give a bit more detail on how exactly they are not working. Might help more to solving your problem. I use UNPB myself, so not too familiar with CBBE and how it works exactly, but I believe those are the steps that you have to do. Hopefully someone else can be a bit more clearer.
BadManiac Posted May 19, 2013 Author Posted May 19, 2013 I'll do some more experimenting. I installed CBBE, which doesn't come with BBP built in. Then I installed XP32, and then used Bodyslide to batch make BBP body and clothes. That didn't work. I'll try what you said. Get the BBP that's recommended with CBBE to work first, and then overwrite it with XP32. The reason I can't use the normal CBBE one is because it gives me stability issues, game crashes all over the place with it, and I KNOW it's the culprit because I can start/stop the crashing by enabling/disabling the BBP and not touching anything else. So I was hoping XP32 would work I'll report back with my success. Possibly post a "how-to" if I figure it out. Enough people use CBBE, there might be some interest.
smoke1967 Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 maybe this...CBBE's creator says to install a BBP mod/skel first then install CBBE... I myself used CHSBHC then I design a good looking body with bodyslide...save the preset and create bodies...then I use bodyslide again and select CBBE BBP from the first menu box...then select my saved preset from the second menu box and batchbuild all the available outfits...personaly ive never had a single issue with this set up other than a rare breast glitch on the CBBE page it says.... "Q19: Why am I getting CTDs (Crashes to Desktop) whenever I use a body with BBP (Breast and Butt Physics) enabled?A1: You haven't installed BBP but you have installed the BBP-compatible meshes.A2: You have installed BBP, which comes with a lot of its own bugs. The best you can do is report it to the mod author (not here, as Caliente has no control over the animations) and not use a body with BBP for now.A3: You have installed BBP, but installed it after CBBE.A4: You installed BBP, then changed your mind and went to uninstall it. Check the BBP mod for the exact files it adds, remove -all- of them from your Skyrim/Data directory, then reinstall CBBE, including any non-BBP options you used with BodySlide." also take note of this this caused me several headaches until I read the whole FAQ on the CBBE page "Q18: BodySlide fails to create the bodies I make. How can I get the meshes installed?A: Make your changes to the sliders, and then Ctrl+Click the 'Create Bodies' button. The femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif will then appear in the BodySlide folder. You will then need to copy these to your Skyrim/Data/meshes/actors/character/character assets directory, and allow any overwrites. I hope I was a bit helpful
