Ark of Truth Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Have you built your bash patch? If you have try unbuilding it and see if you get the same issue. For me if I build the bash patch I get misplaced eyes.
kingkong Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 did you install it on a notebook ? as i remember you need to take off all the added peripherals like mouse, keyboard and screen before installing. because oblivion.ini and render.ini mixeup somewhere . and no seconde monitor you need to swich of on the graphics setting. sorry but if this is the case you will need to reinstall it again as the game will crash eventually in random location.

For me if I build the bash patch I get misplaced eyes. By "unbuilding" do you mean disabling the patch and trying to run wihtout it ? If that's what you mean it didn't work last time i checked. And also it's not really the eyes that are misplaced, it's the eye sockets. did you install it on a notebook ? as i remember you need to take off all the added peripherals like mouse, keyboard and screen before installing. because oblivion.ini and render.ini mixeup somewhere . and no seconde monitor you need to swich of on the graphics setting. sorry but if this is the case you will need to reinstall it again as the game will crash eventually in random location. No i don't use a notebook, but thank you for your help regardless.
kingkong Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 can you please put a screen shot of your probleme as this seems like head compatibility probleme ? did you run archive invalidation to force the game to register new files over

kingkong Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 is it the same probleme ? if so i suggest you to PM Poontank to see what solution he gave to correct it (even if it is not the same root probleme) as you have texture over writing . you might look with tes4edit to see what mod is adding those sockets textures instead of taking over (i think something went wrong with w bash and you need to follow Ark of Truth suggestion of UNBUILDING your bash patch not just uncheck the patch ) .

There is a screenshot in the reply above you it's the same issue just that he had another mod causing the problem. I will try unbuilding the bashed patch after i skim through tes4edit is it the same probleme ? if so i suggest you to PM Poontank to see what solution he gave to correct it (even if it is not the same root probleme) as you have texture over writing . you might look with tes4edit to see what mod is adding those sockets textures instead of taking over (i think something went wrong with w bash and you need to follow Ark of Truth suggestion of UNBUILDING your bash patch not just uncheck the patch ) . It kind of is the same problem but at the same time isnt, since the mod causing the issue is not the same. According to the guy in the link i gave you, it helped removing the mod that was causing the issue but since i'm not using that mod the solution won't work I will check and see in tes4edit if i can find any conflicts but i doubt it. EDIT : I unbuilt the bashed patch and tried without it, didn't work and i also tried looking in tes4edit but didn't catch anything so far i'll try messing with some textures but i might just have to reinstall everything again.
mace_win_dude Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 I found the problem .... There was another headmesh there, i don't know how it got there but it did, lol. Thank both of you for taking your time to help out, i appreciate it !
