flutie Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 have you got any mods that change meshes or textures of items in the game? does it crash after one particular item you store or various items? do you have any skui plug ins that change the inventory menu? where are you storing the items and does ur game crash before you close the inventory screen? I do not see anything in the load order that would cause a CTD, but I would check the above also go into different building and try to recreate the crash

flutie Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Random CTD'S happen, esp in outdoor cell, so that means it's something with the bunkhouse, u can try one item at a time, in the bunkhouse, to narrow it down more

nemocdt Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I looked over your load order which you have Loot sorted. and i don't see any compatibility patches at all. your load order does not have anything out of the ordinary that i can see. if your are using mo2 delete your overwrite folder and start a new game. if you have been adding and removing mod's while playing then your posted load order won't help. install enb boost. don't use a preset. use this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4143 check your weather and lighting mod page's for compatibility patch's. elfx uses speciifc meshes for lighting (may not seem like much but it is) lighting and weather conflicts are very important. accessing a container, even if it only has vanilla item's added by a removed mod's stored in your save is insta desktop. container's are important. (start a new game)
Elizinator Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 when it comes to CTD diagnosis, .net framework is a pretty crucial tool. it usually (not not always) produces a crash log that can point in the right direction. If the culprit is a bad mesh or texture, itll name and shame it directly.

No the tools wont delete it you have to delete it manually just open the zip that you installed from, both enb binary and ruby zip's and use as a reference to delete the file's in your game folder. the enb manager is amazing you can youtube how to use it, trust me it's worth it. you can install 40 presets and swap enb's at the click of a button before you start a game. you cant not have it.

I tried looking at he .net framework folder but I didn't see any crash folder, well I guess I'll have to do trial and error and disable mods

Moving on trying to pinpoint the problem blindly doesn't seem the best approach TBH.

Papitas Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Barring corrupted assets or too much heavy duty scripts running at the same time, I usually get random CTDs using Sexlab matchmaker-like mods, ie. mods that make NPCs have sex between them. I don't know many of your mods you listed, but if you have one of those, it may be worth to check if disabling them stops those CTDs
Tlam99 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Just some basic hints for a setup Use BC7 compression on at least large texture mods. Don't use stuff like 4k nails or chicken shit. Make a better use of the freed vram by creating mipmaps for regulary used textures, e.g. clothing, skin. Limit the used skins, use one default skin for all and maybe some in addition for special followers. Free vram as much as possible (BC7, not sh..t4k stuff). Reduce cpu use as much as possible (mipmaps) Go to the default 59, 60 fps, have vsync enabled, don't fiddle around with ini files, let Bethini do this settings. Install fps stabilizer to calculate time for scripts. Avoid using homes, quests etc which change vanilla stuff, chose the ones which create a own ID for new, modified stuff. After installing a new mod check with xedit for possible dangerous overwrites. Delete stuff which places another chest to the tons placed around riverwood. Remove not needed npc selling those clothes in some mods. Make a save after new mod install and check this save with resaver. This list could be longer, but as said, some basic things to do on the way to no ctd for a complete play through. And yes, it is possible.

Hello, so turns out the mod causing the crashes outside was actually Immersive Creatures, the problem is that I really like this mod, it adds challenge and variety to the game and would like to keep it, is there a possible way to fix it?
Tlam99 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Place above MNC. This mod is known to cause issues.
SophieModan Posted August 26, 2021 Author Posted August 26, 2021 So I disabled a few options from Immersive Creatures and got rid of the CTDs for good actually, but I have installed new mods and now my problem is that whenever my companion Marcurio conjures something the game stutters for half to a whole second, is kinda annoying and I'm certain it has nothing to do with my specs as I can run this game at constant 60 FPS on ultra if I'm not using ENB, if you guys can help I'd appreciate it a lot, here are my mods and plugin load orders: Mod load order: rim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm ccqdrsse001-survivalmode.esl cceejsse004-hall.esl ccbgssse025-advdsgs.esm cceejsse001-hstead.esm cceejsse002-tower.esl ccbgssse008-wraithguard.esl cceejsse003-hollow.esl ccedhsse002-splkntset.esl ccmtysse002-ve.esl ccbgssse031-advcyrus.esm ccbgssse016-umbra.esm ccbgssse020-graycowl.esl ccbgssse040-advobgobs.esl ccbgssse013-dawnfang.esl ccvsvsse002-pets.esl ccpewsse002-armsofchaos.esl ccbgssse043-crosselv.esl ccbgssse003-zombies.esl ccbgssse041-netchleather.esl ccbgssse035-petnhound.esl ccedhsse001-norjewel.esl ccbgssse019-staffofsheogorath.esl cctwbsse001-puzzledungeon.esm ccffbsse001-imperialdragon.esl ccbgssse036-petbwolf.esl ccbgssse045-hasedoki.esl ccbgssse021-lordsmail.esl ccbgssse034-mntuni.esl ccbgssse060-ba_dragonscale.esl ccbgssse062-ba_dwarvenmail.esl ccbgssse051-ba_daedricmail.esl ccbgssse057-ba_stalhrim.esl ccbgssse058-ba_steel.esl ccbgssse064-ba_elven.esl ccqdrsse002-firewood.esl ccbgssse002-exoticarrows.esl ccbgssse004-ruinsedge.esl ccbgssse006-stendarshammer.esl ccbgssse007-chrysamere.esl ccbgssse010-petdwarvenarmoredmudcrab.esl ccbgssse014-spellpack01.esl ccbgssse063-ba_ebony.esl ccbgssse018-shadowrend.esl ccbgssse037-curios.esl ccffbsse002-crossbowpack.esl ccfsvsse001-backpacks.esl ccvsvsse001-winter.esl ccmtysse001-knightsofthenine.esl Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patch.esl SurvivalControlPanel.esp SexLab.esm SexLabAroused.esm SexLab Attraction.esm ZaZAnimationPack.esm Schlongs of Skyrim -
