Applying alt skin textures to armors.

I have a problem relating to body textures and custom armor.

The current set of body textures that I'm using (CBBE v2, includes files such as FemaleBody_1.dds, etc.) don't show up real well on a bikini armor added by this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34061/?   . The legs/butt area have very visible lines, and it looks awful.

Now, if I started using the ADEC textures, then the legs/butt area on my character look great (when wearing the bikini)! However, as soon as my character un-equips the bikini or wears other armor, the legs/butt area look awful. This probably means that the female body meshes for the nude body and for all the other armors I have installed aren't compatible with the ADEC textures. Since I'm pretty happy with the female body meshes I have now and don't want to scrap half the armors I have installed, I researched on how to create Alternate Textures for armors using the Creation Kit.

I fired up the Creation Kit and duplicated the SkinBodyFemale_1 texture set, which created the SkinBodyFemale_1DUPLICATE002 texture set. I then set the SkinBodyFemale_1DUPLICATE002 texture set to refer to the ADEC textures. I then duplicated the ArmorAddon forms for each of the bikinis and had the model refer to the SkinBodyFemale_1DUPLICATE002 texture set; the 3d model looked OK, so I then set to associating the modified ArmorAddon forms to the bikini armors in the creation kit.

But when I started up Skyrim and had my character wear the bikini, it was as if nothing had happened! All of the bikinis were still referring to the default female textures in the texture folder. I attempted to read more on how to solve this problem, but haven't found any good solutions so far. I also attempted to go to the .nif file for the bikinis and refer them to the ADEC textures, but that didn't help either.

Does anyone here know how I should go about fixing this problem?

UPDATE:

I seem to have discovered the solution to this problem. I forgot to set the "Skin Texture" tab to refer to the customized texture set.
