I'm looking for some tutorials on converting HDT  XML to SMP

In the eventuality that i'll fail would ayybody be willing to do this?
Right now i haven't yet finished the legs collision mesh, but it's not the first time I have been messing with XMLs and failed. I used some Youtube tutorials, so I'm looking for somthign more noob friendly, and I'm only interested in XML explanations. How it works and what's the behind the scenes for them.
