shinigami103 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Hey guys, I downloaded the mod "Storm Wings" and when I equipped the wings, they're not appearing as in the screenshots of the uploader. Can anyone please tell me how to fix them?
mdkmaster Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Never heard of the mod until this thread. That said, your image looks like the textures for the mod are not being loaded. First option is to try re-installing the mod, I couldn't find it on the nexus, although I didn't look very hard. I'm presuming you installed it by hand. When you re-install it, you need to be careful of the directory structure (in this case) for the textures. Second option is to try contacting the creator of the mod, if you did get it from the nexus and installed from the mod manager, there may be a problem with the package and it may not be auto-installing properly. In this case you can still goto the download directory for the mod manager and try a manual install, if you are comfortable doing so. *Edited for blatantly shitty spelling.
DemonicKnight786 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I'm having the same problem is there any other way to fix it? I tried a re-installing and doing it with a different file
mchaloffvii Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Had the exact same problem, now the structure of this mod is as followed : New Folder ( game recognizes it as Data, so no problem there ), in that folder you have both the Textures and Meshes folders plus the needed ESP. It's the Textures folder that has a wrong subfolder structure. Go inside the Texture folder and you'll see 2 folders ( Armor and Dragonwings ). Simply put the Dragonwings folder IN the Armor folder, launch the game and enjoy =D. So just to be clear, the structure should be ( in your skyrim Data folder ); Textures -> Armor -> Dragonwings.
