Can't play certain animations

I don't really know how to put this except to say that my character cannot play vaginal/anal animations. It is a female character and it doesn't matter if she's with males or females, it will do a very specific and weird thing

 

1: It will display the name of a vaginal/anal animation it's supposed to play

2: initiate the scene

3: then immediately display a new name and change the animation to some kind of handjob or oral animation

 

NPCs can play vaginal/anal animations just fine so I know it's not some kind of failure of the animations loading. It's player specific and I cannot understand it.

 

I'm not really sure what to post as far as showing my list of mods but i'm curious if there are specific mods that might unintentionally or intentionally restrict a characters animations. I've completely reloaded everything in the Animation Loader and gone through several menus I thought might be the culprit but found nothing about restricting animation (except ZAZ Animation Pack, which is a little confusing so i'm still not sure)

It might be due to the equipment your character/other actor has. For instance, certain cuffs have scripts associated with them that always force certain animations to occur when you start a scene regardless of what you pick as an animation, exactly in the way you describe - the correct animation will flash for a moment and then it will change to some other one. In my case, I think it was the ZAZ cuffs that were causing this effect. I ended up straight up getting rid of the script in question since I wanted to use them for other animations.

Whatever your particular case, a script might be running that is "highjacking" the scene in a similar way, from equipment or from another mod altogether. only in your case possibly if the animation has tag anal or vaginal (for some reason).

OMG, thank you! I'm so freaking forgetful. It was a ZAZ device she had on. I never thought about it because it was so small.
