Loller99 Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 So, hi all....i am having a problem. Bodyslide's built presets don't apply in the game. I am running MO2 as admin, running the x64 exe of bodyslide, it's a fresh installation of everything. I pick the preset, i build the body, i batch build the outfits and neither of them changes one bit. Or, well, the body is different from the one i built, anyway. What exactly is the issue? I literally NEVER had this kind of troubles in skyrim or skyrim SE, only in FO4 And i noticed two more things: i deleted the mod i created from the overwrite folder to recreate the bodyfiles, but now whenever i run bodyslide nothing gets in the overwrite folder! Moreover, if i tamper with body sliders while in game, nothing happens, until i re-dress the character and re-undress it.
Loller99 Posted June 28, 2021 Author Posted June 28, 2021 I think it's not savin g the body files, or it's saving them god knows where. But why, and how to fix it?
Guest Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 You probably need to change the output directory in Bodyslide. Settings bottom right corner --> Under game data path advanced change it MO2 overwrites folder location then move them out after your done however you like.

The files now go into the overwrite. However, i discovered another problem: for a reson unknown to me, in - game looksmenu assigns random sliders to my character, so even when i built the body in bodyslide, my character wasn't as she was supposed to be. I therefore moved all sliders as close as possible to 0, saved the game, rebuilt the body and now it seems to be working as it should. Now i am gonna check on companions as well, to see if their sliders are fucked up or not.... I'd still like to know why all this heck happened, though Seriously, i did NOTHING that i haven't done on skyrim

Skyrim and FO4 are a bit different sadly something we don't have and some things need setup way different.
