Hey y'all, need some help here. As far as I know, I've downloaded each of the mods and their dependencies but Skyrim is continuously crashing to desktop. Not quite sure whats causing it, and if someone could give me a hand, I'd appreciate it. Load order is below. Not sure if its supposed to be in the load order or not, but I do have SKSE installed.

Question: Does the game crash before you get to the main menu or after you have already loaded into a game?

A few tips, in case you haven't already done these things. These may seem obvious but even I sometimes forget the basic shit.

  • Run GenerateFNISForUsers.exe each and every time you add or remove animation mods.
  • Run LOOT (load order optimization tool) if you have it, I recommend it for most users.
  • Make sure you're running SKSE.exe and not Skyrim.exe.

If doing all of those doesn't fix it, then it could be one of your creature mods. I always had problems with those things. Try uninstalling all of them and see if that fixes the issue. If it does, then re-install all of them one-by-one loading into a save game after every mod install to find out which one is the culprit. If you aren't using Mod Organizer, NMM, or Vortex, then this part becomes very very hard.
