[README FIRST] [START HERE] - How to HUGSLIB and ask questions.

Before asking questions in any of the [Mod] Release and Discussion threads.

 

The common and most important thing is using HugsLib many people will have a question while trying to resolve an issue. A common response is "I need more information or post your HugsLib or post ctrl-F12".. This is the guide is how to get ctrl-F12 working correctly.

 

1.) Make sure HugsLib is in your mod list and active.

 

2.) After starting up or restating for the first time with Hugslib here is a quick test for you to see if it works correctly (it will also help you with future debugging!)

 

 

2.) Start by enabling Development mode it will add aditional tools for you to use if you want later. AND turn OFF Auto-Reset Mods Config..

 

You will NOT want to rebuild a big mod list load order if it crashes (auto-sort is NOT good).

 

 

 

 

3.) Open the DEBUG LOG.

Click the FIRST SQUARE ICON AT THE VERY TOP..

 

Mousing over them will make them highlight BLUE when selected and give you a tool tip.

 

4.) The [Share logs] is typically what every single Modder on the workshop, here and other sites will ask for when you report an error.

go ahead and click the Share Logs now to see how it works.

 

 

5.) Clipboard is for you to get a better detail understanding.. OR you are having a problem creating the shortened url link to gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/

 

That's it.. make sure you ask the correct question in the correct [mod] Thread..
