Scripted events lag time

I have an odd problem, when I am past the health point for enslavement in SD or even when I use the sexis cupid mod, there is a huge lag between when I cast the spell or when my health falls under the proper %, before the action happens.


 


It seems like mod scripted events are taking a long time to actually complete, in all modded events, even digging up the bodies from the black sacrament mod.


 


So example, thugs come after me, get me below the % for enslavement, nothing happens, followers murder thugs, a minute or so later I fall to the ground and am stuck in the kneeling position, I have to reload the save.


 


Same thing with sexis, cast spell on 2 people, minute or so later they finally start going at it.

If you're running a lot of script intensive mods that can sometimes occur if you're simply exceeding the capabilities of Papyrus default settings.

 

If you're not using default Papyrus settings, ensure they're at least 2xDefault for min/max memory page size. And 2x the maxallocatedbytes.

 

Papyrus gets cranky when you're not using direct multiples of its defaults and will sometimes cause just as many problems because of that. Default is supposedly supposed to be enough but I really don't think so with the amount of scripted mods people run these days.
