I have no saves at the moment to test if it is the case with loading save files as well. I think it may be a load order issue. The saves loaded but I received 2 error messages; $NO_F4SE and $NONE_ERROR_QUESTSCRIPT. I have F4SE installed so I'm not sure what that first one is about. I also noticed MCM has $ symbols both in the "Mod Configuration" part and within the MCM menu (specifically the hotkey portion). Also CBBE and Bodytalk3 Didn't appear to load as the vanilla bodies were present. Male characters also had an issue with the Pipboy being raised higher and to the left while also having dimmer lights.
