Co0n Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Hey guys!Is there any step by step guide about how to import skyrim .nif meshes into blender? I used to be a C4D user, then switched to 3dsM and now that I dont have any licence left, I need to start learning blender ^^ I don't want to keep asking other people to do the work I am actually capable of because I cant edit the meshes...
Cyndi Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Idk of any blender tutorial stuff (I don't use it), but If you already have 3ds why not just get a student serial from autodesk?
Co0n Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 I thought 3Dsm has no proper Nif import/export?ps: I already hate blender...
DontBotherMe Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 you can use fallout 3 settings to import skyrim nifs in blender, but you have to check some blocks with nifscope, some nodes needs to be removed before you can even import it in blender.

This works great for me (using 3ds max 2012 64bit): no issues with import/export on ninode or fadenode. -> http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5622/ .... aside from the wonky texture thing, that needs fixing with nifskope after.
