WickedWhims animation don't resume after restart

Currently having some difficulty with sex animations. If I quit the game while in the middle of sex then start up the save file again, the animation does not resume and I cannot start sex again until I do a reset of the sim. Can't seem to find what's causing the problem with it as it used to work fine before
