help to create mod.

I'm trying to create my first full mod. (others that tweeking existing one  )

 

anyway. 

 

I came across a follower mod that added "Potema" as a follower;  however she is patiently waiting in a room? kinda immersion breaking... 

I wanted to add a function to the skull of Potema to conjure the follower. then if that work create a short quest .

 

complet the invocation at wolfskull cave, this time with her skull and some sorte of sacrifice ?  in order to obtain the follower,   she  could be conjured each time you use the skull... 

probably have to change her quest. so you can create a fake skull to give the priest . 

 

my problem is; I don't now how to start ; any help will be greatly appreciated
