The game keeps opening the SL Tool during an animation

This is rather bizarre.

 

When starting an animation, the game suddenly starts automatically activating the SL Tool menu as if one was holding the button down or actively pressing it. I was able to reassign it just fine, and clearly the buttons aren't stuck, yet it started once again doing it. 

 

Since the game freezes during the menu, animations are practically unusable.

In the Sexlab Tools MCM, press the hotkey to assign, hit ESC

Press Reconfigure Mod

Press the Hotkey again and assign it to your liking

 

Does that fix?  If not then...

 

Have you restarted your computer?

 

Edit: Also check to see if stickykeys is enabled?
