Question about costume replacement

I wonder if it is possible to use a lower rarity costume to show the mod of a ssr costume.

There are so many mods in the forum but there's none did that so I guess it is banned or not possible.

Just want an answer.

Swaps that are intended to allow you to use outfits a player hasn't obtained in game are likely against the rules, from what I remember seeing.
