I need help getting oblivion sex mod to work (strange yellow triangle image)

I'm new to modding oblivion, I'm trying to get the sex mod for Oblivion to work (using the r^pe mod) however whenever a scene initiates, I get this large yellow triangle that appears, with a white box in the middle.

Am I missing a mod? how can I get the animations to play properly?

As far as I remember, a yellow diamond means that there is no 3D model for the corresponding object. Or no invalidation (the game takes models from the bsa archive, and not from the folders where you copied the models) Or the models that you are using are broken (they have mistakes in themselves, but this is rare if you are not moder and are not testing something new in 3D)

First, change the load order like mine.

After the load order was adjusted the trianle went away.

 

However my male character doesnt go nude--- (still wears vanilla underwear).

How can I get him to be fully nude with erect penis and all bro?

Probably, you did not install the body replaycer , as Ex. -  https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45864

 

, or did not configure the nudity settings (in the Lovers system settings - the basic mod, there is a spell of settings)

I have roberts seamless male installed, installed using the nexus mod manager (not the oblivion mod manager) and didn't use wryebash.

 

sadly afterwards I have no male nudity or erect penis

any ideas?

What happens when you take off your clothes manually?

Lovers stores it's erections in a different folder than the main body. Make sure Clothes\as, Clothes\asbonersv5 and Clothes\lovers exist.

 

You might consider installing RefScope.

It's a folder path. Do you know where Oblivion's Data folder is? Data\Meshes\Clothes

Actually, I don't use Nexus Mod Manager. Is it one of the managers that use a virtual file structure? That changes things.

 

That's why I suggested installing RefScope. It might help us diagnose what Oblivion is doing, so we can figure out what the problem is.

Okie dokey, so looking in the data/meshes/ clothes, i'm not seeing a asbonersv5 

Not sure why that is. I use nexus mod manager, but sometimes the thing forces me to use mod manager

I noticed how these appear to be mesh files the mod manager put in my data folder, but not my meshes folder. Wasn't sure if that might be a related issue

You really need to try MO2, With that one screenshot, I can see why your install is a mess... Those folders are all over the place.

You could try manually installing the meshes. Just install over the Meshes folder and everything should be added properly. Also, are the mod .esps in you Data folder?

 

I have no idea how Nexus Mod Manager works. That may or may not be normal. Doing a bit of research, it seems NMM was discontinued in favor of Vortex (which I also don't use and so cannot offer advice on).

 

Personally, I install everything manually and use Wrye Bash to manage my profiles.

does mo2 work for Oblivion?

I've been modding since 2014 and never used mo or wrye bash, only nexus mod manager and it and my mods all always worked fine for me---from the skyrim and fallout angle---however I see Oblivion is a trippy modding experience, the way it handles its files is crazy ?

 

I only started manually installing when I tried to use m D drive as much as possible; I wouldn't recommend installing every mod manually, as some mods seriously require an organizer to install; such as texture mods that would replace an original file, there is a chance that if you tried to remove it, you could wind up deleting an imortant script or file your vanilla game needs.

That's what Clothes\as and \asboners5 are. Oblivion hard-codes Humanoid\NPC body meshes (Meshes\Characters\_Male). If you replaced Lowerbody with the erect mesh, all males would be erect all the time. Lovers works around it by having a flaccid mesh in the body location and equipping something that is technically clothing during sex.

Most vanilla files are in .BSA archives. Scripts are saved in .esp or .esm files, not in a separate Script folder, unlike Skyrim.

 

In fact, looking at my clean install (that I keep around for emergencies), the only Texture is \Effects\TerrainNoise.dds and there are no Meshes. Just Music, Shaders and Video.
